All specialty gas mixtures we offer are produced using precise, cost-effective methods, following the ISO 6141 standard, which guarantees traceability to the original filling data — cylinder numbers, manufacturing data, individual gas component weight, and chromatography/spectroscopy analytical data. Our production quality system follows the ISO 9000 standard.
Specialty gas mixtures are used for purposes including:
Analysis
- Helium/Hydrogen mixture (60/40)

Emission measurement
- Air emission measurements — pure gases and mixtures, ppb mixtures; nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulphur compounds (SO2), hydrocarbons (CnHm), BTX compounds
- Multi-component emission measurements — pure gases and mixtures for carbon compounds (CO, CO2), NOx, SO2, HCl, HF, metals and VOCs
- Exhaust gas emission measurements — pure gases and mixtures for CO, CO2, C3H8, NO
Argon is used, for example, as a shielding gas in ICP plasmas. Although plasma technology has advanced, consumption is usually high enough that cylinders must be changed frequently. Many of our satisfied customers have switched to 300 bar argon cylinders — physically the same size as 200 bar cylinders but holding around 50% more gas, giving benefits such as:
- better gas utilization (fewer cylinder changes, less purging)
- lower risk of impurities entering the system
- smaller cylinder inventory
- fewer cylinder handling operations
- lower injury risk
- fewer rental cylinders
- less residual gas
